What does the rash of lupus really look and feel like? Feb 14, 2013 The rash of lupus looks just like a butterfly across your face body on the nose, wings on the cheeks. It can vary in redness and bumpiness. But definitely a butterfly. Rashes can come from so many different reasons, though, unless you are having other true Lupus symptoms, definitely don't rush into that conclusion! Good luck!

Had to stop taking Plaquenil - I recently decided to stop taking Plaquenil because I was having constant chest pains even more so than I usually have due to Lupus. Since I have not taken it my chest feels so much better which is odd because chest pain is not listed as a side effect.
