Does anyone take plaquenil and LDN? I recently flared after taking 1 plaquenil a week for a few years. Now taking 2 a day again, 3 weeks in and not feeling better yet. Extreme cognitive dysfunction and I can't work. My dr prescribed the low dose naltrexone to me but I'm afraid to take it. Low dose naltrexone or LDN is the prescription medication that every doctor has heard of, but never prescribes. Regular naltrexone not low dose is used for heroin addicts, alcoholics and opiate withdrawal. I recently started Low Dose Naltrexone for pain and I had an opportunity to see it work positively for a Lupus flare. I was then interviewed on the radio.

For example, it may be combined with an antibiotic to treat chronic Q-fever, which humans usually catch from farm animals or raw milk. Plaquenil is used to treat other types of infections too.
